Welcome to "A Year of Mindful LivingTM"!

 

A Year OF Mindful Living (AYOML) is a 12-month long nutrition, lifestyle education and support program specifically designed for new patients by Dr. Ron Weiss, MD and operated out of the Ethos Primary Care Practice in Long Valley, NJ. The Ethos Primary Care Practice is part of Ethos Health, which also operates the Doctor's Farm Market.

 

What is the goal of AYOML?
The goal of AYOML TM is to teach individuals the value of incorporating a plant based whole foods diet into their lifestyle as the best way of achieving and maintaining optimal health and wellness.

 

What are the objectives of "AYOML" ?

  • Uncover the hidden factors that are affecting our health

  • Becoming self-sufficient and confident in living a plant-based whole foods lifestyle

  • Prevention and combating of chronic illness

  • Preventing and combating common and wide-spread diseases of aging

  • Transforming your health and wellness in ways you cannot yet imagine!

 

What does AYOML include?

 

Ethos Primary Care’s A Year of Mindful Living is a nutrition and lifestyle education and support program. This program has 3 components: Check out the schedule for the program here.

  • Dr. Weiss's 30 Day Challenge: 30 days of initial intensive dietary change medically overseen by Dr. Weiss. Dr. Weiss recommends two medical office visits with blood tests: one at the beginning and one at the end of the 30 Day Challenge.

  • 24 sessions of nutritional/lifestyle education and support, including: a) 12 two hour classes at the farm or on-line covering various aspects of healthy eating and mindful living. Every class will have one food item prepared and tasted by the participants. b) 12 support group conference-call sessions – attend from the comfort of your own home.

  • Real Life Application Training:  Includes grocery tour, ‘Let’s Toss’ Cooking Class, Eating Out experience (there is an extra charge for your meal) and Cooking for the Farmers (3 times).


When can I join AYOML?
Whenever, as its 'rolling admission'. So the year-long program will start with your first visit with Dr. Weiss as an AYOML member. You choose your start date.

 

Dr. Weiss is in-network for Medicare.

Ethos Primary Care will provide you with a bill for all your medical visits to submit to your insurance carrier for out-of-network reimbursement.
